About Me...
My name is Michael L. and I was born in saxony, germany. I spent my
entire childhood and youth there and it was great. But now I want to be more
specific about my life:

My home during winter

My school career...
I started school during the german democratic republic and attended two schools
besides the elementary school. I declined the choice to learn russian but only
to find out that I was going to get in this same school a few years later.
There I met really gorgeous friends that I'm glad to have until today.
So time went by and classes were mixed up and at the end I finally made my
Abitur. Generally speaking I could say that this time
went by too fast especially the 11th and 12th grade. But there was another
cause for the good and fast last year... called Nadja.

... after school
I was exempt from military service and served my time in civilian service.
Therefore I worked on the intensive care and surgery at
HBK in
Zwickau.
Afterwards I moved to
Düsseldorf
to work some weeks/months at Xerox.
Afterwards I began my studies at the
university of dortmund.
That's were I live and study today. At the moment I share a flat
with Marc, a good friend. That's really fun.
Yeah somethings came as never forseen ;) but I never regret any step of my life.

How do I spend my free time...
Some of my time I spend with the computer. But a lot of
my other free time I spend with other things. The computer
is only a tools and nothing that guide my life. I found
my true love with it... that's help enough.
Besides the computer I read a lot of stuff. It doesn't matter whether novels,
technical literature, magazines or events of the day.
Everything is fine enough to be read: science fiction, fantasy
romance or mystery stories. I read articles about quantum physics
as well as politics. As you can see I'm not too shy to expose
myself to other opinions and writings.
Besides reading and using the computer it could happen that I
catch a party at friends or go out with them. Also I like to watch movies
on DVD or at the cinema. I like to choose a DVD from my collection and
watch it with nice surround sound.
What I don't like is watching sport on tv. Yeah that's something boring
and stupid. Sorry for you guys out there loving those things but for
me it's more interesting to get my ass up and do some sport myself.
I like swiming and playing badminton.
Travelling is something I find very interesting and fascinating. I have
visited some countries for myself. Here in the european union I travelled a
lot (Ireland, Greatbritain, Poland, Hungary, Czechia, Austria...). I like
to travel on backpacking and searching ways through countries. The last few
years were very special so I made an Interrail vacation throughout whole
Great Britain and (Northern-)Ireland together with a friend, Carso. In the
year 2004 Nadja and I risk the adventure to travel china. We visited Beijing,
Shanghai, Chongqing, Wuhan, Nanchang and made a whole boat cruise on the
Jangtse. This explains also my interest for China, Asia and the fareast that
has grown within the last years.
